The office is approximately 4700 square feet. It will be staffed with eight employees and offer a full range of financial services. A ribbon cutting will be held on October 3, 2011, the same day the new location will officially open. Both facilities, 112 S. Hansell Street and the new 85 Liberty Street, will be full service. The Liberty office will serve as the Lending Document Center and the Hansell office as the Accounting Center. Effective October 8th new office hours for both facilities are as follows:
Saturday service will be available to members at the Liberty Street office. New hours: 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. (Drive thru and Lobby) The Hansell Street office will be closed on Saturdays after October 1, 2011. A special Grand Opening event will be hosted for members to coincide with the International Credit Union Day celebration on October 21, 2011. This year's theme, "Credit Unions Build a Better World," celebrates the important economic and social contributions credit unions make to their communities worldwide. The event will be held at the new Liberty Street office from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. The new office will be open for touring, and refreshments will be served. The Hansell Street office will close at 3:00 P.M. during the ICU Day / Grand Opening event in order for staff to attend. Rose City Federal Credit Union has been serving Thomasville and the surrounding community since 1959. It serves over 8,000 members and has over $25 million in assets.
